To accompany Pamela Rosenkranz's show Our Sun at the Istituto Svizzero di Roma in Venice in 2010, the book documents the show with full-colour photographs on high-quality paper stock, and contains texts by Reza Negarestani and Salvatore Lacagnina.
Our Sun is a courageous exhibition. Pamela Rosenkranz went straight to the water and the Sun, in an intricate tangle of ecology, philosophy, politics, economics and art. Venice has remained stuck to this exhibition, just like the colour on the sheet squashed onto the glass in Stretch Nothing. And this is an undeniable merit of an artist declaredly gnoseological like Rosenkranz. The exhibition appears Venetian, yet each of these works would have been created even without Venice being considered, following other orbits.
