Leukomania (Whiteness)


The Leukomaniac enters states of self-induced turmoil that hold all Being hostage in the milky whiteness of the eyeball. Here the opaque, ivory tissue of the sclera is no longer a protective outer coat but rather a sanctuary for ‘astonishment’: its paleness allows the light’s devastating ‘return’; it authorises disorientation to whip, siphon, and suffuse itself into the optic nerve to the extent that one perceives only spacelessness.…
