Aberto Toscano is a cultural critic, social theorist, philosopher and translator best known for his translations of the work of Alain Badiou. His interests include communism and fanaticism. He is a Reader in Critical Theory at Goldsmiths, University of London, Co-director of the Centre for Philosophy and Critical Thought, and a member of the editorial board of the journal Historical Materialism: Research in Critical Marxist Theory.
