Dr Alex Murray is a lecturer at the School of English, Queen's University, Belfast. He has published widely on literature and place covering 1840-present. This year he is publishing Landscapes of Decadence: Literature and Place at the Fin de Siècle (Cambridge UP, 2016) and working on other studies of decadence and modernism.
