Iris Long
Iris Long is a writer and independent curator whose research focuses on the megastructures of science and technology in China, as well as the psychogeography of technoscience. Her curatorial approach integrates science fiction, field trips, and deep engagement with scientific institutions. As a researcher, she has received fellowships and support from the Berggruen Institute, Swissnex, and others. Since 2023, she has been running the artist-in-residence program on art and astrophysics/astronomy at the Department of Astronomy, Tsinghua University. In 2021 she launched
Port: Under the Cloud
, a long-term research and curatorial project exploring the infrastructures of science and technology in China (<http://temporalstack.com>)—this is her passion project. Iris is also an amateur radio operator and a certified electrician.
